| Bio: | Ok, I hate writing these things, but will none-the-less. I grew up in a tiny town in southern Minnesota. I got my bachelors degree at Luther College with a double major in sociology and political science. I then packed up and moved all of six days later to Berlin, Germany. I'm working towards my master's degree in sociology, at the Freie Universität here in Berlin. I work(ed) part-time at a youth hostel as a receptionist. I also teach a very rich family's children for an obscene amount of money to help supplement my life abroad. When I'm not working, pretending to go to classes or caught up in some sort of psycho-drama here, I can often be found drinking beer in the park, talking on the telephone, or spending time with my friends talking about everything from sex, politics, and Harry Potter, to the revolution. As my friend Becky best puts it, "I'm obsessed with music, books, fate and revolutionary politics... an idealist consistently looking for signs and magic in the everyday... someone who likes to deconstruct everything and talk openly about all things smutty..." except that I'm not an idealist, and usually end up seeing only the worst in people and situations. I surround myself mostly with like-minded leftests. A great many things get under my skin, a number of them include homophobia, sexism, anti-semitism, nationalism, patriotism, machoism, materialism, insensitivity, christianity and "tolerence".
